Full Spectrum Sea Moss is more potent in flavor and has more health benefits. It is intentionally slow dried in the shade to preserve all its natural colors. Gold Sea Moss is dried in the sun where it is naturally bleached out, creating the all-gold color.

To prepare sea moss gel, start by rinsing a handful of sea moss to remove any debris or salt. Place it in a container and soak it in water for at least four hours—adding a squeeze of lime juice can help reduce its oceanic taste. Once softened, remove the sea moss from the soaking water and transfer it to a blender with just enough fresh water to cover. Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Store the gel in a clean glass jar in the refrigerator, where it can last up to three weeks. This versatile gel can be added to smoothies, teas, desserts, or even used in skincare as a natural face mask.

All our seamoss is all naturally processed and we do not add any salt! That is natural salt that comes with the seamoss. Our full spectrum is really potent! The full spectrum will smell stronger, be more salty and hold more moisture as we dry it in the dark and the salt collects on the seamoss instead of evaporating.

The full spectrum seamoss and the regular seamoss are actually the same seamoss, the main difference is the full spectrum is dried in the shade and takes a longer more skillful process. The full spectrum has a stronger taste and smell and also has some more nutrients in the color. If you are new to seamoss the regular seamoss is great. If you want to try something new or want to go right for the most potent than the full spectrum is for you!

You can leave the dried seamoss in the bag and in a cool dark place like your cupboard and will last over a year!
